At the time of its founding, the primary concern of the HOA was speed and traffic calming, as many streets in the area were becoming heavily utilized by commuters trying to find a way off of the congested arterial roads which bound our neighborhood. Over time, the HOA expanded its membership and the scope of its advocacy, working with city officials and other similar organizations at the request of residents on matters involving traffic calming, encroaching multi-unit development, crime prevention, and historic preservation.
